Overview

Triaenodon obesusThe Ranger undertook its first transoceanic expedition, sailing for more than 5 months and more than 12.000 nautical miles, from the Pacific Ocean in the North American West Coast to the Mediterranean Sea.

This expedition on board the Ranger, was aimed at documenting and recording the biodiversity, richness and importance of the marine wildlife, and the threats that these essential ecosystems face, in order to understand the role of oceans in the world’s balance.
