Prince Albert of Monaco and Oceana
Under the high patronage of HSH Prince Albert II, the first Bal d’Oceana was held last June 25th in Monte Carlo. The event, which gathered numerous attendees, was aimed to spread the organization’s work and raise funds to support its international marine conservation campaigns.
Prince Albert gave a short presentation in which he underlined the work done by his foundation for protecting the oceans and his willingness to collaborate with Oceana for their advocacy. Subsequently, he exchanged some words with actor Ted Danson, Oceana’s active Board Member, and talked to the representatives of Oceana about the latest achievements of the organization. Oceana offered him an institutional present and a copy of Oceana transatlantic expedition book “12,000 miles to protect the oceans”
