Cabrera: Alexandra Cousteau

Alexandra Cousteau has been an advisor to Oceana since 2012. She carries out a number of activities, including joining the 2012 Baltic Expedition.

She is the granddaughter of world famous French explorer and filmmaker Jacques-Yves Cousteau, who taught her to scuba dive when she was seven. At four months old, Alexandra took part in her very first  expedition at-sea with her father, Philippe Cousteau.

A dedicated environmentalist, she advocates for  the conservation, restoration and sustainable management of marine resources to build a healthy planet and productive societies.
