Friday 14 June 2013 – Middlefart – Denmark
Today our plans were launching the ROV at first time in the morning, but due to the weather conditions, we decided to cancel the operation, and instead made two immersions with the divers.
The first dive was in a mug seabed spot, were we could film and photograph many crabs, sea stars, jelly fish and some algae, but the visibility was very poor and we had to be extremely careful to avoid touching the seabed as this would reduce even more the visibility we had.
The second dive was in the North of Middlefart where we found an interesting place full of algae, soft corals, sponges, kelpos and seagrass. We could document small fish in between them.
In my opinion it has been one of the most interesting dives we have made during the campaign until today.
After our dives, the ROV guys could launch the ROV from the shore to complete today’s work.
